Great local press
Not for the first time Watford FC has fallen out with the Watford Observer.

Reminds me of Paul Robinson scoring against Watford…
“The second goal of his career”, oh yes
I was pleased to hear that Neil Price wasn’t spouting his usuall nonsense alongside Simon Oxley’s commentry of Blackpool versus Watford on BBC Three Counties Radio.
Neil “blindingly obvious” Price, “we aren’t going to win this game unless we score”, normally spouts out rubbish each week but today we had the voice of Watford Observer sports reporter Kevin Affleck.
Now we can loose in the playoffs.
Watford lost 1-0. At home. To a team that is already relegated.
At this rate we won’t even make the playoffs.
What fool wants to put their money in Watford?
Chairman Simpson has always said he would consider stepping aside for someone who had more money to invest into the club.

After a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace today Watford are well on their way for my pre-season prediction of mid-table mediocrity.
Finally, after 1 win in 12, Aidy admits we can’t win the league and we’ll have to settle for second. In your dreams Aidy.
“I think first place is gone now but second is still very much up for grabs. We’ve created enough to win two or three games….
We’ve created some unmissable chances and missed them. If you do that then that is what you get. We should have won 4-0.”
Some more quotes to add to the still-receiving-large-amounts-of-traffic soundboard when I next update it.
