I think we must be due rain throughout the Olympics given the good weather we’ve been having lately!

The start of “Somebody that I used to know” by Gotye [yt] sounds like the music from Monkey Island.  On that subject, here is a representation of the evolution of computer sounds cards as demonstrated by the Monkey Island theme.

Someone ate 16 courses (and drank 12 glasses of wine!) at Colette’s at the Grove.

The Warner Brothers Leavesden Studio tour opened yesterday. After several weeks of adverts in the Metro, Evening Standard, local press and posters at tube stations. Wonder what their market budget was?

The Tube (BBC 2) was good wasn’t it!

Wunderlist is a very nice task management tool. Very simple, quick to use, cross platform and totally free.

Watched Something about Mary and the first Naked Gun Film for the first time in ages this week, still find new funny things each time I watch them!

Eric Schmidt on lack of Computer Science in schools. So true.

Learnt what Payola is (secret payments to media so that they broadcast certain music).

You can (try to) rent out your home for thousands during the Olympics.
